Janelle Meyer has worked as an international special educator for over ten years from USA, Asia & Africa. She believes education is power, spreading the word on inclusive organizations and best practices for lifelong learners.
She holds a Masters’s Degree in Special Education from Vanderbilt University (USA). In Malaysia, she was a founding board member of SENIA’s local chapter (SENIM). Additionally, at The British School of Kuala Lumpur, she established and served as the Head of Learning Support & Inclusion Department. Bridging the classroom to the real world, she founded chapters of Best Buddies International in China & Malaysia.Prior to teaching, Janelle designed for National Geographic Kids magazine in Washington, DC. Outside of work, Janelle loves both running after her three young children or if given the opportunity-long distances by herself.
