Rachel is the Executive Director of the International Learning Group (ILG) School; the first-ever IB World School in Prishtina, Kosovo. ILG School is one of the few International Baccalaureate Continuum Schools worldwide offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Primary Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP).
Rachel, an international school student herself, has over twenty-five years of experience working in international schools around the world. Rachel has lived and worked in Zambia, Sri Lanka, Greece, the UK, Germany, The Bahamas, China, the USA, Australia, the Solomon Islands, Albania, and Kosovo.
Inclusion is not just a buzzword for Rachel; it is woven into the fabric of her being. She believes that the true strength of any community or organization lies in its ability to embrace the rich tapestry of humanity. With a deep understanding that diversity is not just about differences but about the collective strength those differences bring, she is committed to creating spaces that champion equity and celebrate uniqueness. She truly believes that there is unity in our diversity.
Rachel serves on several boards including the Association of Central European IB Schools (ACES), Uptown International School in Cairo, Egypt, and now the Special Education Network & Inclusion Association (SENIA – Kosovo Chapter). Additionally, she is a private consultant, working with schools to help develop and promote inclusive international education around the world.
